Build Resilient, Faster & More Confident Young Athletes
Why This Matters
Young athletes are not just “small adults.”
Their bodies are developing, meaning injuries behave differently — and so should rehab.
Growth, training loads, school demands, and sport participation can combine to create stress on growing bones, tendons, and joints. Without targeted guidance, this can lead to recurring injuries, pain, or confidence issues that limit development.
At our Kippa-Ring clinic, we work with junior athletes from across the Redcliffe Peninsula and Moreton Bay — including club and representative players from local rugby league, AFL, soccer, netball, basketball, and swimming programs. We focus on evidence-based treatment and performance training that builds strength, speed, and resilience so young athletes can continue doing the sport they love — now and long-term.

Our Process
01 — Assessment
We identify the injury source, contributing factors, & sport demands.
02 — Plan & Load Map
Clear timeline & goals + expectations for return to training & competition.
03 — Rehab & Performance Training
Hands-on care + strength + plyometrics + change-of-direction → based on sport.
04 — Return-to-Sport Testing
We don’t guess — we measure.
Strength, power, hop capacity, movement quality & decision-making.
05 — Long-Term Performance
Optional performance or strength programs for ongoing development.

Testing & Benchmarks
We may use performance markers such as:
Single-leg hop metrics
Change of direction
Strength testing (hand-held dynamometry or gym)
Jump asymmetry
Time / distance benchmarks
Young athletes learn how to move with better speed, strength & confidence.
FAQs
Do you speak with coaches?
Yes — we regularly communicate with club or school staff to ensure safe return.
Is strength training safe for juniors?
Yes — when supervised and tailored to their development. Research strongly supports strength training for reducing injury risk and enhancing performance.
Should my child rest until pain goes away?
Rest alone is not effective. We load appropriately to build resilience.
Do you offer gym programming?
Yes — clinic & home-based strength and conditioning options are available.
