Damian is a co-founder and co-director of Movement Rx, and one of the most experienced sports physiotherapists on the Redcliffe Peninsula. He graduated with a Masters of Physiotherapy from Griffith University in 2007 — dux of the program — following a Bachelor of Exercise Science in 2005. He spent the first years of his career at one of Brisbane’s leading private practice clinics, consulting with thousands of patients annually and working alongside respected figures in sports medicine, orthopaedic surgery, and neurology. That foundation in high-volume, high-complexity clinical work has never left him.

Damian’s team physiotherapy career spans over a decade at the elite level, including:
- Physiotherapist/Head Physiotherapist, Souths Logan Magpies Rugby League (2007–2016)
- Consultant Physiotherapist, Canberra Raiders (2008–2010)
- Consultant Physiotherapist, Diving Australia (2009–2010)
- Physiotherapist, Gold Coast Titans (2009/2010)
- QAS Rugby League Physiotherapist (2009–2014)
- QRL Junior State of Origin Team Physiotherapist (2009–2016)
- Easts Tigers Rugby League Physiotherapist (2016–2019)
- Queensland Residents Rugby League Team Physiotherapist (2015–present)
- Basketball Queensland / Basketball Australia National Performance Program (2015–2019)

That on-field experience — managing injuries at the moment they happen, making accurate calls in real time, and seeing athletes through to return to play — translates directly to the clinic. Damian has seen virtually every injury presentation in every context, and patients consistently tell him they leave appointments with a clarity they haven’t had elsewhere.
He believes everyone deserves the same standard of care, regardless of whether they’re playing elite sport or managing a recurring knee problem from years of weekend footy.
Outside the clinic, Damian is kept busy by two young children, a love of basketball, and the occasional glass of red wine.
